Welcome to the best fishing tournament on the NASCAR circuit, a thrilling angling adventure that has been reeling in enthusiasts since its inception in 2004, thanks to the vision of Drew Patey. Created with the spirited NASCAR community in mind, this unique tournament caters to race car drivers, dedicated crew members, and valued sponsors who gather in Homestead, Florida, for the race weekend. This backcountry fishing competition takes place at the Holiday Isle Resort and Marina located in the Florida Keys at Islamorada, the sportfishing capital of the world.

Tournament Schedule and Format

• The tournament kicks off Wednesday evening at 5:30 PM with a Captains party hosted at the Zane Grey Lounge. This is an opportunity to meet or catch up with your captain and make a plan for the next day. The tournament rules will be covered along with any new updates or changes. You will want to attend this party to socialize and network with other participants.
• Each participant receives an assortment of commemorative gifts, including a special fishing shirt, cap and other collectable items provided by our sponsors.
• Fishing tournament starts Thursday 8AM – 3PM in the world renown waters off Islamorada. Lines cannot be cast before 8 AM and must be out of the water by 3PM. Score cards must be turned in by 4PM, no exceptions.
• Awards Ceremony with prizes and trophies, plus a top-quality cocktail reception immediately follows the fishing event at 5PM. A chance to mingle with your fellow racing personalities and commemorate over the ones that got away.
